YAKERS are made from cheese that comes from a blend of yak and cow's milk. We then add the smallest amount of Lime Juice and Salt to help turn the milk into cheese. For our flavoured YAKERS, the 100% natural ingredients are added as part of the mixing process.
Recommended feeding guidance may vary depending on the size, age and how active your dog is. It is widely accepted that treats should make up no more than 10% of your dog’s daily calorie intake.
YAKERS are made from a mix of skimmed yak and cow's milk. A very small amount of lime juice and salt is added to help solidify the milk, which is then compressed into blocks and smoke dried for 28 days to give the chews their unique smoky flavour.

How to microwave your YAKERS chews

Once your dog has enjoyed the most of their YAKERS chew (approximately 3-4cm of a medium or XL chew) simply place the leftover piece inside your microwave.

Microwave on high for 30-60 seconds (depending on the power of your microwave) and the final piece will begin to hiss and puff, just like microwave popcorn.

Once the YAKERS piece has puffed up, take it out of the microwave and ensure it has completely cooled before feeding it to your dog to savour and finish the whole treat.
